customers are always right?

Really so customers are always right! are you sure? When a customer calls to say that a part they got is not what they actually ordered you second guess yourself, you ask if they can send it back and you will re-ship the correct part when this one returns. The part comes back and it is the right part. this happens a couple of times. The customers usually are really getting pissed off by this time. So you sit back and ask yourself what is the problem, do we not understand what the customer wants? Are all the parts wrong that we are shipping? is there some other reason? So by this time it has escalated a few levels. So we ask can you please send a picture of what you are trying to replace and a picture of the part we sent you and point out the difference.

So the pictures come in with an email in capital letters stating that we are responsible for all shipping charges and down time and they will invoice us for the time spent to figure out the issue.

So what is the problem that we discovered you ask. Well it appears that the packing material was not completely removed from the unit!!!!! of course it will not fit. Maybe you should remove the 'engineer' label.

Here's your bill
