Some of the country has been hit pretty hard with snow over the last few weeks. What is the first thing people say, even days before the actual storm arrives? "What happens if it snows and I can not get to work?" This is something a few people I know have repeated almost verbatim. Some people have even gone so far as to say that they are entitled to get paid because it is not by choice that they are not at work. Seriously people you are not at work why should you get paid for not being at work? really? It really is amazing that after having the same basic conversation with a few management level people I can tell you this idea is rampant. It is not our fault mother nature dumps a good amount of snow on the ground.
The moral of the story is this, instead of wondering what is going to happen in the future you should be worried about getting your work done today. if you are so concerned about tomorrow then work a little harder to get a little ahead. believe me it is noticed when someone works hard, has a good attitude, and puts in extra effort.
